Download & Play
Follow these steps to get into zemahms. Windows only.
⚠️ Heads up: the custom client is flagged as a false positive by Windows Defender (it's a modified MapleStory client). Before downloading it in Step 4, add an Exclusion for your install folder
C:\Nexon\MapleStory in Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions.

Install the base game
Download the original MapleStory v83 installer and install to the default location C:\Nexon\MapleStory. (~1.8 GB)

Add the custom WZ files
Download the cosmic-wz files and copy them into your install folder, replacing the originals.

Remove the stock launchers
In C:\Nexon\MapleStory, delete: the HShield folder, ASPLnchr.exe, MapleStory.exe, and Patcher.exe.

Download the zemahms client
This client is pre-configured to connect to zemahms.xyz — no editing needed. Copy it into C:\Nexon\MapleStory. (Make sure the Defender exclusion above is set first!)

Create an account & play
Register here, then run zemahms-client.exe and log in with your new username and password. Create a character and you're in!
